Brightleaf Customer Care (BCC) is a new division of an established business, Brightleaf Development Company. BCC is a partnership in more than the legal sense of the term. We are a family-owned business with many years of experience working together on homes both big and small.





Bernie Malloy is a “hands-on” contractor with many years of field experience, as well as a talent for innovative ideas and problem solving. He has orchestrated and supervised projects as diverse as office buildings, land developments, multi-million dollar homes, and a major reconstruction effort in St. Thomas following Hurricane Marilyn in 1995.

Judy Malloy uses her accounting degree to supervise the company’s financial and administrative matters. She uses the experience gained as a member of the Board of Directors for several nonprofit organizations, including the American Red Cross, to develop long-term goals for the business.

Cory Malloy After graduating from the State University of New York with a degree in business management, Cory realized that building is where his heart is. He joined Brightleaf Development in 1998 and is now a partner in Brightleaf Customer Care LLC. Cory has earned the prestigious North Carolina Builder Institute's Master Builder Accreditation.
