Why we do a maintenance inspection first

We designed our process to save you time, energy, and money. We perform a detailed maintenance inspection of your home first in order to provide the preventative maintenance that your home deserves. Brightleaf Customer Care takes a proactive stance by addressing issues before they become major problems. Our team looks behind the rotten windowsill to find the source of the damage. We not only fix the cosmetic symptoms of a problem, we tackle its root cause.

When we inspect your home, we ensure that all of its systems are working, not just as individual parts, but as an integrated whole. Your car runs more efficiently when the tires are properly inflated, aligned, and balanced. Likewise, your home’s HVAC system performs most efficiently when the insulation is in place, the weather stripping is intact, and the doors and windows are working properly.

When you sign up for one of our programs, an inspection will be scheduled. During the initial maintenance inspection, our team member will inventory all of the systems in your home and create a comprehensive file on your home’s components. Our records include details on all of your major systems. If the inspection uncovers any maintenance or repair issues, we go over these with you and leave a copy of the checklist and maintenance report for your review. If you choose, our inspector will schedule the maintenance work right away.

What constitutes a storm? When the National Weather Service has issued a warning and confirmed the existence of a hurricane, tornado, major winter ice storm (1/4” or more), snow fall of over 6 inches, or local flood conditions. Thunderstorm damage is considered an emergency call initiated by the homeowner. Inspections, of course, cannot commence until conditions are deemed safe to do so.
